Same Day Care

The Campus Health Same Day Care clinic treats students for medical conditions that require prompt medical evaluation. Patients are initially seen by a Registered Nurse to assess the nature of the visit and then directed to the most appropriate clinical service within Campus Health. These services are available without an appointment.

Due to the ever-changing nature of urgent needs on campus, however, scheduling an appointment time will offer you the most efficient route to care. You can also call 919-966-2281 to help determine how quickly you need to be seen.

Hours of Operation

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday (closed on Saturdays during academic breaks and summer). We encourage students in need of late afternoon care to arrive prior to 4:30 pm if possible.

Note: On Saturdays, many Campus Health departments are not operating at full capacity. Students may need to return to Campus Health during regular hours to have all their health care needs met such as having labs drawn, x-rays taken, or prescriptions filled. During the academic year, Same Day Care is supported for pharmacy needs on Saturdays by Student Stores Pharmacy which is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
