Meredith Petschauer

Athletic Trainer

  • Professional/Educational Background: Bachelors, The College of Wooster; M.A. in Athletic Training, UNC; Ph.D. in Biomechanics, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
    Dr. Petschauer teaches Biomechanics, Emergency Care of Injuries and Illness, General Medical Conditions in Athletes, and Therapeutic Exercise. In addition to her responsibilities with the athletic training program she is the Director of the Undergraduate Honors Program for EXSS and serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Women's Gymnastics team.
  • Family: She and her husband Greg have two children, Madison and Grant.
  • What's one thing most people don't know about you?: Her research interests include prehospital care of the cervical spine injured athlete specifically considering lacrosse and ice hockey equipment.
