Doing all this while working at CVS Pharmacy. My time at CVS lasted for 4 years. This is where I grew a love for Pharmacy. In 2020, I decided to take Pharmacology courses. Being 2020, I did all of my schooling online with months and months of Zoom classes that lasted 3 to 4 hours a night. Once getting my Certificate of Completion I became a North Carolina State Certified Pharmacy Technician at the local hospital in my hometown. Who has influenced me most when it comes to how I approach my work?: I come from a family of very hard workers. My parents have always (to the best of their ability) made sure that my sister and I had everything we needed and most of what we wanted. We never went without due to their hard work. My grandmother on my mom's side always told me "Education is the only thing no one can ever take from you, work hard and learn something new everyday"
Work related accomplishment I am proud of: I earned my National Certification not too long after giving birth to my daughter. I was a new mom with a whole new life basically and was still able to study hard and earn my certification on the first go!
One thing most people don't know about me: In elementary school I wrote a short story and was nominated for an award, I was then sent all the way to Raleigh, NC to read my short story in front of the North Carolina Reading Association for the chance to become a "North Carolina Young Author."
