Parking
Limited parking is available for patients and visitors to use without charge during normal business hours. Designated UNC Health Campus Care parking spots are located on the northeast edge of the lot east of the James A. Taylor building.
To access this lot:
- From Manning Drive, turn onto Emergency Room Drive (UNC Hospitals Emergency entrance).
- Continue past the emergency room to enter the parking lot.
A valid ParkMobile code is required to park in these spaces and can be provided by the Campus Care front desk staff. This video explains the parking process.
Using ParkMobile

- We strongly encourage patients to create a ParkMobile account for a smoother parking experience. Download the ParkMobile app on your phone and set up your account.
- With an account, you can save your vehicle information. Your license plate number and state are required to park anywhere on campus. If you continue signing in as a guest, you’ll need to re-enter this information each time you visit.
- Enter the zone number before leaving your vehicle.
- Check in at the front desk to receive a discount code and finish setting up your parking in the app. You can set up your parking pass from the lobby without returning to your car.
After Hours Parking
- Weeknights (Mon–Thu after 5:00 PM)
- Parking is limited to weeknight permit holders only.
- Weekends (Fri 5:00 PM – Mon 7:30 AM)
- Parking is free and open to all visitors.
- Home Football Game Days
- Most Campus Care parking spaces are reserved for Rams Club members. Patients and visitors must use a ParkMobile parking pass on game days for any available spaces in the Campus Care lot. Please stop by the Campus Care front desk to receive your code.
Pharmacy Pick-up Only Parking
Four of the parking spaces have been dedicated for pharmacy pick-up only and will be restricted to a 30-minute time limit. Two spaces are located to the left of the James A. Taylor loading dock entrance, near the fence of the medical school wing just past the main South entrance of Kenan Stadium, and two more spaces are in the main lot with Campus Care parking.
Disability Parking
UNC Health Campus Care does not have specially designated handicap spaces. If you have a UNC Disability parking permit, you may park in one of the designated accessible parking spaces on the eastern side of the building.
