Family Nurse Practitioner
- I am originally from Massachusetts and have lived in the Triangle area for many years. I became a Family Nurse Practitioner 11 years ago after receiving my Master’s from Duke University in 2013. Since then, I have been a FNP at various Primary and Urgent Care locations, a Community Health Center, and a Retail Clinic. Combined, I have also been a RN 24 years since graduating from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2000. As a RN, I worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and Duke University Hospital in specialties: pulmonary, cardiac, and ICU/Step Down.
- I am thrilled to have joined UNC Campus Health as a FNP since providing care for late adolescents/young adults and middle aged adults has always been a passion of mine. This is with especial recognition that it is a time in one’s life of exciting self-discovery, transition, learning, and growth. It is coupled with learning how to care for oneself and how to navigate through a health care system, which all can be challenging at times and in which, I hope to provide support with.
- I am honored to provide care to UNC students with a goal to be a participant in their health and to optimize their overall well-being and success at UNC.
