Claire Baudler

  • Professional and Educational Background: Undergrad degree from Iowa State in agronomy & environmental science, currently pursuing my MPH at UNC in the Global Health concentration.
  • Originally from: Des Moines, Iowa
  • Family: Mom, dad, 2 brothers, a sister, and my fiancé Luke.
  • Hobbies/Sports: Reading, going for walks, hiking, gym, knitting, crocheting, horseback riding, getting coffee, watching movies and bad reality TV.
  • Pets: Agatha (a cat) 
  • Who has influenced you the most when it comes to how you approach work? My dad, who always works incredibly hard.
  • What's one thing most people don't know about you? My favorite apple is Braeburn, and I always look for it at the store. If you ever find it, please let me know!

Elizabeth Breeden

  • Elizabeth began working at Campus Health in 2020 and is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner with Campus Health.
  • Originally from Kansas City, she received her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy.
  • Her areas of interest include mental health and providing patient education.
  • Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching reality TV, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Holly Carter

Pharmacy Technician
  • Holly began working at Campus Health in the Fall of 2019. She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician and Over the Counter Inventory Specialist for the Pharmacy Department here at Campus Health. Holly can be found most of the time over at the Student Stores Pharmacy. Holly is a proud "Durhamite" (born and raised in Durham, NC).
  • Holly discovered her love for Pharmacy while she was an employee at the Walmart Pharmacy in Hillsborough, NC. She worked there for 10 years before accepting a position here at Campus Health in 2019.
  • Holly graduated from a Pharmacy Technician course at Durham Technical Community College in November 2019. She became a Certified Pharmacy Technician after successfully completing the national test given by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in June 2020. Holly completed her training and is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and Immunizations in December 2020.
  • Her areas of interest are mental health advocacy and gender affirming care.
  • Outside of work, she enjoys swimming and going out on the boat, snuggling up with her dogs and a good book, creating abstract art, and spending time with her son, Chandler.

Michele Kernodle

Pharmacy Technician Specialist & Supervisor and Purchasing & Inventory Technician

Michele began working at Campus Health in Aug. 2005. Michele is married with a daughter and 4 bonus children, nana of 4, and has a fur-baby named Remix. She received her Pharmacy Technician National Certification July 31st, 2005. While always looking to strengthen her skills and knowledge, Michele was amongst the very first pharmacy technicians in the nation to earn her newest recognition, CPht-Adv in April 2021. She is a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor/Specialist, Purchasing and Inventory Technician, AHA Basic Life Support Instructor, and Travel Clinic Coordinator. Michele actively works multiple jobs, eagerly looks to help and celebrate others, enjoys precious time with family, and always finds a way to host an event. Music is her haven - she also works as a DJ and band manager.

  • What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re proud of? Receiving my BLS and pharmacy certificate.

Candice Lutterloh

Pharmacy Technician
  • Professional/Educational background: Candice graduated college for Early Childhood Education. She worked in daycare from 2007-2014, then opened an in home care facility. She returned to school for animal care, and later took up being a Pharmacy Tech.
  • Originally from: Sugar Camp, now lives in Burlington
  • Family: Candice is married with two children and lots of nieces and nephews along with two sisters and a brother.
  • Pets: She has an African Grey Parrot named Harlei who is 7 years old, and an over-sized, over-active, overly adorable Yorkie named Theodore who is 2 years old.
  • Hobbies/Sports: Spending time with her family and friends, good music, good food, and gardening.
  • Work influence: Candice has been influenced by her mom, who has always been a hard worker no matter what she was going through.
  • Work related accomplishment: Opening her own in-home daycare.
  • Surprising fact: “My age! Everyone assumes I’m their age which is typically much younger (no complaints here!).”

Thomas Moscatelli, Jr

  • Originally from Boston, Thomas earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Northeastern University.
  • Thomas joined UNC Campus Health in January of 2020. He is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner and the Pharmacy Manager of Student Stores Pharmacy.
  • His areas of clinical interest include travel health and providing patient education.
  • Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife (Kelly) and his daughter (Isabella), traveling, and going to hockey and baseball games. He is an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, and all other Boston sports teams.

Alexis Shook

  • Professional/Educational background: Alexis went to UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in History. She then attended the Eshelman School of Pharmacy for Pharmacy School. 
  • Originally from: Boone, North Carolina
  • Family: Alexis' husband is named Tyler and they have a cat, Poppy. She also has the rest of her family back in Boone including her Mom, Dad, and brother.
  • Hobbies/sports: She loves to be outside! She tries to go for a walk or run every day. She also loves hiking and exploring new places in the triangle area, reading, and watching football and basketball. 
  • Pets: Alexis has a COVID kitty named Poppy who loves making herself known on Zoom calls.
  • Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work? A preceptor from my early immersion experiences, Lana Crona, taught Alexis to be confident and caring in patient care.
  • What's a work related accomplishment that you're really proud of? Matching to a pharmacy residency at her favorite place - UNC!
  • What's one thing most people don't know about you? Alexis loves music - pretty much any kind. At a spontaneous concert that a friend took her to, she was able to dance onstage with the Beach Boys.

  • Lauren began working at Campus Health in 2018 and is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner with Campus Health. She is a Tar Heel native from Chapel Hill, NC.
  • She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology (B.S) from Florida State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

  • Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, spending time with her husband (Dylan) and dog (Wally), and going to UNC basketball games.
