Pooki Saulsbury
I am a certified pharmacy technician with an Associate in Science from Mayland Community College, and I am (hopefully) pursuing a B.A. in Mathematics at UNC. My pharmacy work centers on patient access and accessibility, grounded in a deep commitment to collective liberation, environmental justice, and care rooted in compassion, empathy, and equity. I believe in building systems that support all communities and the environment—through reparations, decolonization, and radical, inclusive change. I emphasize solidarity, humor, and forgiveness as keystones in my daily life. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, hanging out, playing soccer, running, math, philosophy (especially logic), (learning) sewing and gardening, writing poetry, listening to music, cooking, baking, and cultivating native plant apothecary crafts and skills. My guilty pleasure is Youtube. If you’re interested in and prepared for a passionate response, ask me about my thoughts on American infrastructure or plastics.
