COVID-19 Boosters

October 25, 2021

Boosters for all three of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the U.S. are available on campus thru the Campus Health Pharmacy and Student Stores Pharmacy for undergraduates, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows.

Who should receive a booster?

Those who received Johnson & Johnson over 2 months ago are recommended to receive a booster.

Those who received Moderna or Pfizer who are

  • 6 months past their 2nd dose AND
  • age 18-49 with certain medical conditions OR who work or live in high-risk settings

may choose to get a booster after considering their individual risk.

What type of booster?

Mix and match vaccines are allowed.

Where, when, and how can I receive a booster?

Visits without an appointment are offered at Campus Health Pharmacy or Student Stores Pharmacy M-F 9a-5p or Sat at SSP 11a-3p.

Boosters come at no out-of-pocket cost. Bring your vaccination card and insurance card; no other documentation is needed.

Fully Vaccinated Status Regardless of Booster

Everyone who has received two mRNA vaccine doses or a single Johnson & Johnson dose should still consider themselves fully vaccinated regardless of whether or not they receive a booster.
