COVID-19 Vaccine Available

October 2, 2023

At UNC-Chapel Hill, we are taking the necessary steps to help our community members limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which includes staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. The fall 2023 vaccine is designed to match the changing nature of the virus, and it is recommended for everyone over 6 months of age.

On-campus, walk-in vaccines

COVID-19 vaccines are available and provided on a walk-in basis on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Campus Health Pharmacy.

Appointments for vaccines

The Campus Health Immunization Clinic will also provide the updated COVID-19 vaccine by appointment to students and post-doctoral fellows. Those appointments can be scheduled online or by phone starting October 2.

Reminders

Vaccines will be billed to the recipients insurance — so bring your insurance card with you. Medicare plans are not accepted. Most insurance plans cover COVID-19 vaccinations with a $0 copay. If you are concerned about paying for your vaccine, search vaccines.gov for locations that may provide free vaccines.
