Student Stores Mini Clinic

Campus Health operates a Mini Clinic in Student Stores on the third floor of Student Stores open weekdays from:

9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

Students and post-docs eligible for care at Campus Health who want prompt medical attention but do not need emergency care may access services at Student Stores Mini Clinic by paying a $30 Mini Clinic visit charge.  

Drop-in at a convenient time for you. Wait times will vary based on the number of patients accessing services.  

Scope of Services Offered 

Mini Clinic providers can help with recent onset of: 

Illnesses and Infections 

Sore throat, flu-like symptoms, ear pain, congestion, cough, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, strep throat, mononucleosis, bronchitis, acute asthma flare, sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, urinary tract infection, bladder infection, athlete’s foot, cold sores, impetigo 

Minor Injuries and Pain 

Sprains, strains, joint pain, burns, cuts, blisters, wounds, heartburn, indigestion, mouth and oral pain, eye problems, bites, stings, splinter removal, suture and staple removal, ear wax removal 

Skin and Hair Issues 

Bites, stings, athlete’s foot, allergies, lice, psoriasis, poison ivy, poison oak, rash, skin irritation, dermatitis, ringworm, rosacea, scabies, shingles, sunburn, swimmer’s itch 

Diagnostic Tests 

Pregnancy, COVID-19 rapid test, respiratory panel, mono, strep, throat culture, urine tests, and glucose/ketones  

If your needs are not listed above, more comprehensive health care services are available by appointment at Campus Health in the James A. Taylor Building. If you need emergency care, please dial 911 or visit your nearest emergency department.  

Mini Clinic Visit Charge 

Patients who receive care at the Student Stores Mini Clinic must pay a Mini Clinic visit charge of $30. There may be additional charges for services and tests which will be submitted to your insurance. Please bring your insurance card. 

Campus Health offers Same-Day Care, a similar service to the Mini Clinic, and a more comprehensive scope of appointment-based health care services at the James A. Taylor Building. Services at the Taylor Building do not incur the Mini Clinic Visit Charge.
