Dr. Mildred Witt is a psychologist at CAPS. Originally from New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Hunter College and her Ph.D. in psychology from the City University of New York. Prior to Dr. Witt served as a staff psychologist at the counseling center at UNC-Greensboro and CAPS at Duke University. She was also a medical education consultation at Duke School of Medicine. Before Dr. witt relocated to North Carolina, she was the Director and a Assistant Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine; also serving as psychologist at North Central Bronx Hospital. Dr. Witt's professional interests include anxiety, behavioral health, transitions, multiculturalism, academic achievement, mindfulness meditation, and sports psychology. Outside CAPS, Dr. Witt enjoys tennis, dancing, watching sports and quality time with family and friends.
