partnership with the UNC Obstetrics/Maternal Fetal Medicine Group to offer the
highest quality Care at a reasonable cost.
- The University Obstetric and Gynecologic (UOG) Service is
ranked as one of the Top Ten OB/GYN programs nationally. The CHS program is
accredited by the Joint Commission.
- Mary Schlegel, MD, is the UOG
Obstetrician/Gynecologist at CHS. She
is Board Certified and will provide care for you throughout your pregnancy and
post-partum period. However, any of the UOG Faculty may be on call when you go
into labor.
- The University of North Carolina Hospital is a

your care during the labor, delivery, and post partum periods. You will deliver
your baby at UNC Women’s Hospital and return to CHS for the 6 week post partum
checkup.
