Campus Health Services offers an injection service for students receiving allergy immunotherapy ordered by a physician outside of Campus Health Services. The Allergy Clinic is run by a registered nurse who is available to administer injections and consult your allergist as indicated. Follow the five steps described below to begin our service. Step 1. Have your physician request our service. Download the Request for Parenteral (Injection) Therapy Ordered by Non-Student Health Service Physician form. Print it, have your physician sign it, and return it to us by fax at 919.843.6910, in person, or by mail:

Step 3. Make an appointment with the allergy nurse for your first visit. Call 966.2281 to schedule an appointment. - Fall and Spring Semester Allergy Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15am.-11:30am and 12:30pm-3:45pm
- Summer Allergy Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm-3:45pm.
At your first visit, the allergy nurse will review the information contained in the documents above and witness while you sign the consent form. You can begin getting your injections at your first visit if we have your allergen extract/serum and the Request for Parenteral (Injection) Therapy ordered by Non-Campus Health Services Physician signed by your physician.
Step 4. Make an appointment for each allergy shot. Call 966.2281 to schedule an appointment. - Fall and Spring Semester Allergy Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15am.-11:30am and 12:30pm-3:45pm
- Summer Allergy Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm-3:45pm.
Step 5. Pay for the injection service. There is a fee for each injection. Consult our Health Fee and Charges section for more information on payment and insurance.
