Urgent Care (Walk-In/Call-In): Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm - 966-3658 Counseling and Wellness Services (CWS) has an urgent care service Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm in which students can either walk in or call to consult with a crisis therapist about urgent concerns. Urgent concerns are defined as when the student is in acute distress and their functioning is disrupted or when there is any concern of harm to self or others. Students, parents, faculty, and staff are also encouraged to call our urgent care service when they feel concerned about a student and want help referring a student to CWS. After Hours Urgent Care and Emergencies - 966-2281 For urgent, crisis oriented concerns that arise after our regular business hours, call 966-2281. Between 5pm and 8pm, Monday – Friday, and 8am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday during the Fall and Spring semesters, your call will be answered by the Campus Health Services triage nurse. At all other after hours times your call will be answered by Health Link a nurse advice system associated with UNC Health Care. You can choose the Health Link option in the automated phone system, or directly at 966-7890. If you are dealing with an imminent life threatening situation or crisis - Call Campus Police at 962-8100
